Take Method or Peculiar Prescription?

I remember I haven’t big problem of sick in Canada. Sometimes I will sick when I was felting cold at all day. I usually drink more hot water or eat Vitamin C. I always beginning of sick, I will headache and muscleache. I can to take a Panadol and a cup of coffee; they let me quickly finish my ache. Maybe some people can say, “Are you sure?” “Yes! I am sure! I have been tried this method. Because this method was my doctor taught.” You can try low dosage of Panadol. I think you should to try low dosage. But this method doesn’t often rely, because it maybe let you engender resistance to medicine. The other method, we can cook soup, “Ginger soup!” We usually put in to a lot of gingers and longans, and decoct 1 hour or 1 hour half. Then you should drink and go sleep. Next day, you will feel better. Anyways, if you sick you should go to the doctor is better way.

Review My Life in Calgary~~

I have been here for 11 month. I remember I hardly ever to eat restaurant because I think there are very expensive at here. But I know have a Korean restaurant that there Chicken Wings are very cheap on Tuesdays. Many ESL students like go to there. So, I just this restaurant for me deep impression. I remember this restaurant is on 7 Avenue near the C-Train 10 Street station. About shopping mall, I have been to Markets Mall, Chinook and Cross Iron. But I think they are not different just who is large mall. I think they are similar and not special because there anything are crazy expensive. In Calgary, I just like going to hiking and camping, or go to biking around Bow River, because here have good environment and nice air. I don’t like to waste too many shopping time on me. So, I review my Calgary life, maybe just “Natural Environment!”

The Ugly Duckling

I remember I have read The Ugly Duckling when I was a kid in the kindergarten. I knew he excluded by his duckling’s brothers because he was ugly. Although, he was very sad, he tried to love his duckling’s brother. He had to undergo many frustrations, and he grew. Finally, he discovered him grew up and look different his duck brother’s. He discovered he wasn’t duck. He was a graceful swan, and he found his real family. Sometimes my mother could read this story for me listened when I went to bed. This story let me knew I haven’t to scorn people because them were ugliness. So, I always remember it in my heart.

Driver's Etiquettes

In my country has many public transits such as bus, train, subway, and high speed rail. Do you think it’s better or worse than Calgary? I think both maybe are the same. But I think the bus driver’s etiquette is worse than Calgary. I think the bus driver’s etiquette is very good etiquette in Calgary. For example, the bus stop on the bus stop, if bus will leave when the passengers from far way are running to bus, the driver is surely to wait that the passengers. But in Taiwan, sometimes “No way! Who care you? Time is money!” On the bus, if elderly passengers not already sit down on the seat, the driver is surely to wait that the passenger already sits down then drive. But sometimes in Taiwan “Please elderly passengers hold on to a pole.” That is I recall the Taiwan bus driver’s etiquettes several years ago. Nowadays, I know they are try to correct their manners and to learn how to etiquettes and friendly for passengers. I think they will as better in the future.

The World Cup!!

About The World Cup, I remember I’m few watching it. I think the soccer isn’t interest in Taiwan. My interest sport is the badminton. I have been playing badminton since I was 13 years old. That was my family’s interest sport. Since I came to here, I seem haven’t chance to play badminton. But I can to hiking and biking with my friends. I have been to play skating and ski in the last winter. Those are my new interest sport in Calgary. Therefore, I bought a pair of skates. I hope I can to play skating again before I go back to Taiwan. But now I can’t. The Oval opening time to play skating is in October. That time I already go back to my country!

Law + Restraint = Safe?

I think the Canada maybe is safer than my country. There are many mafias or gangster. They can blackmail the people and extort money. And sometimes they can murder human, because they want to protect their own area. Besides have plunder rapist and thief. In my country law, the grievous offence is penalty of death. Recently, many people are discuss about the death penalty if abolish. Many people say “Yes” and many people say “No”. I think I will approve of “No!” “Don’t abolish death penalty!” Because I think the death penalty can intimidate offenders and cut down crimes. The population usually should pay attention to own safe. And need have strong law with country. That can reduce to be a victim of oneself, and have a safe life.

Ghost Festival in Taiwan

Taiwan has traditional culture in July every year. That is the Ghost Festival. This time is from the lunar calendar July 1^st to July 31st. In the old tradition, this time is ghost from hell to world. Therefore, the older generations have been telling me many taboos since I was kid. In this month, we don’t play near river or seaside, and we don’t hike in the mountain. At midnight, you can’t take a walk alone because maybe you will meet ghosts. And you don’t whistle night because you will call ghosts came around here.

Middle of month in July we call this day is the Ghost Day. In this day, each family will prepare many foods and ghost’s money to sacrifice all ghosts, and want to pray for good life. People have some traditional folklore of activity on July 15^th such as the Grappling with the Ghosts, Releasing water lanterns and Ritual of Universal Salvation. Finally, end of month on July 31^st. Last activity is the Close the Gate of Hell, that will lead ghosts go back to hell, and mean is people go back to normal life again.

I Win!!! $10 Million Dollars!!!

If I win 10 million, I will be very happy and remain for three days and nights. I will share the money into thirds. First, I can donate some part of the money to the charitable organization, and then, the save the rest of money in a bank. That is because in Taiwan, 10 million dollars can get a good profit from bank every year. That can let me to help more people. Anyway, I like to travel. I hope to anywhere in the world. I want to use the rest one third of money to learn fly airplane, and I have myself airplane. Then I can fly my airplane to travel round the world and enjoy my life. I think I need to try to buy some lotteries now. Maybe I am a lucky man. Let me try!!

Live in City or County?

In Taiwan, so many people know the Taipei this big city, but I don't live here. I live in Yilan. It is near Taipei. The two cities are connected by a highway. Many people are at work in Taipei, and then they are live in Yilan. Therefore, many people often say “Yilan is a Taipei’s rear garden.” Because my county having a natural environment in Taiwan. Although it isn't a modern city like Taipei, living here is convenient for people. In the Yilan about half of county has park or greenbelt. The people who live here feel very comfortable because there is no pollution, less noisy, and less traffic. The people feel relaxed because the pace of life here is slow. So I like this environment, and I'm sure I love this life.
